4x04: Sontarans, Martha, and UNIT

We open on a creepy magenta school and people in orange chucking out a journalist. Someone needs to have a chat with the decorator.

Car Navigation Systems: Now on the list of Technology I Will Not Use.
"This is your final destination". That's on my list of Horror Films That Actually Freaked Me Out. The idea of death stalking you... it's freaky as hell.
Anyway.
Mobile phone! MARTHA!!! *squee* She looks great!
And she's in the credits! With an "and" above her name. Which bothers me for some reason. It just doesn't look right. Anyway.
They meet up and hug and it's adorable. "Don't fight!"
She's engaged! Yay! With Tom Milligan! <3333
Martha in charge! UNIT marching around! My popup blocker's not working! Aww, red hats!
"That what you did to her? Turn her into a soldier?" Aww. Great!
Donna! "I'll have a salute!"
So they walk around the factory and chat and the Doctor is apparently not impressed with the new UNIT. Probably because it's military.
Two UNIT guys wander around. They enter a room that is pink and purple. And kind of blue. And green. But mostly pinkish-purple. Yeah.
They get a crate thing open and there is a vat of green bubbly stuff. A body comes up. It's like an embryo. Cool.
UNIT has guns.
SONTARAN! Yay!
"I don't like people with guns hanging around me." Heh. Kind of reminded me of Utopia, and how the Doctor kept yelling at Jack to put his gun away. <3
Donna's been hanging around personnel. Go Donna! "I can see why he likes you. You are good," Martha tells Donna. Aww. I absolutely love that they immediately got along and are still getting along and aren't fighting. <333
Martha tells Donna to be careful because of the Doctor and her family, and it's sweet.
"Yeah... I don't do orders." That's total BS, but I think he means he doesn't like calling them orders. Or something.
Donna tells the Doctor she's going home, and he goes on this huge ramble about how it's so soon, and all these places he wanted to take her, and thank you, she saved his life... and you're just popping out for a visit, aren't you?
"Yeah," Donna says, and teases him. Aww.
Donna walks home amidst flashbacks.
Martha is escorted by the UNIT soldiers from earlier into the embryo room thing.
Donna chats with her granddad, and her mother comes in, and whatever.
Rattigan Academy. Run by the kid. Everyone's in orange or red or something. The science lab is making highly advanced stuff. And the genius guy can't use proper grammar and the Doctor corrects him and it's MADE OF LOVE.
The kid goes off on the Doctor and calls him "Mr. Conditional Clause". AWWW!
"It's been a long time since anyone said no to you, hasn't it?" Yes. Yes, it has.
Teleport! Sontarans! "Well, stare at this!"
I've also decided I love UNIT Soldier Ross. <3
The Sontaran takes the kid into the ship or whatever. The kid's misguided and kind of evil, but I sort of like his enthusiasm.
The embryo is Martha!
Whee! The Sontarans weren't allowed in the Time War (?) and the Doctor led his people. More informational stuff!
Slimy Martha! oO <33. Yay!
The Doctor keeps the truck from going itno the water. He and Ross jump out and dive for cover and the Atmos sparks out. "Aww, was that it?" <333 So cute.
The Doctor goes to Donna's place. "You would not BELIEVE the day I'm having!"
They go out to Donna's car. The Doctor tells Ross not to point his gun at people. <3
The Doctor and Donna's granddad recognise each other from VotD.
Donna's granddad goes on about Donna's childhood and all the boys turning up. "Who was that one..." "Richard, lives in (?) now. With a man." <3333
"Oh, it's YOU!" Donna's mum recognises him from the wedding.
Sontarans march!
Donna's mum does not like the Doctor. The cars go all gassy. Martha is evil.
Sontarans chant and the kid joins in.
