Title: After Fandom: Supernatural Rating: PG Pairing: Gen Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural or anything to do with it. Notes: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR 5.22. Also I am drunk. ( Summary and fic after the cut )
Oh I LOVE this, bb! Seriously, if this is how s6 started, I'd be more than thrilled! Heaven is so lame. Go Cas! I'd be more coherent, but it's late... love it!
Thanks! Idk, I just can't see Cas going back and everyone going "yeah so what if you rebelled and killed a shitload of angels over the past year, WELCOME HOME :D *cake and rainbows*".
Lol, no problem. I have no idea how I'm as coherent as I am considering by this point I'm completely smashed. XD
Yeah, I really cannot see anything actually working out for any of them. It's only a matter of time before Dean can't keep his promise anymore and goes off to find Sam, and I doubt Cas would be able to go home as if nothing happened.
Besides, this is Supernatural. HAPPY ENDINGS DON'T EXIST.
There's a lot of Castiel-centric post-5x22 fics trickling out now, but this may be my favorite. For one thing, no angst! Well, no overblown, uncharacteristic angst, anyway--what's so bad about Cas returning to Heaven, really? Well, aside from the fact that he might not show up in S6 (in which case I won't be watching, ha). Loved the final scene, particularly the last line.

Great job with the fic, love Castiel's characterization :)

I mean seriously?! Angels have VERY long memories and I doubt that they would be willing to give Castiel the time of day despite being God's chosen.
And as for Dean? He's trying to keep a promise to his brother but it's easy to tell that relationship won't last. It's doomed!
