Sims, do you have any geneological information for your family that I could look at? I promise this isn't as creepy as it sounds. I'm helping someone find a burial site for someone who is possibly in your family tree somewhere (by the name of Grizell Sims). She's supposed to be buried in Oxford.

The answer to your question is "yes," but it might take me a while to find again. There are a couple of websites that trace genealogies, and at least one of them has an extended entry on my family going back to pre-revolutionary times. I think I have the website bookmarked on my other computer, so check back later today or tomorrow. We have the stuff written down somewhere, but I can't get to it right now

I believe if you're looking for the Oxford Simses, they're in section two or five of the cemetery. I'm not sure if Grizell is among them, though.

Well, when I'm desecrating graves, I like to avoid people whose descendants I know.

I did some digging and searched down every branch of the family tree that I could find, but there just isn't enough data. Do you know the name of her parents? J. W. Sims had several siblings and several children. If I knew which branch she came from, I might be able to at least find out where her family lived.

I did find a record of a Grizell Sims who was born in Jasper, MS and died in 1973.
