Yep, Uni has just gotten even more difficult, I was so good at balancing between Uni and my Fan-girling lives, I kinda expected this year to be the same

awww honey... that's the worst year!! but be brave! you'll be okay, just be constant and whatever happens do not dispair LOL rotations is the best part, this year is what will make you understand and love the career. think about third year as the year when you're gonna become a real doctor, all that boring theory is going to become real medicine, you'll see. I'm just sad you're gonna be away more often...
I am having fun, but its hard! I've started on surgical rotation, and damn my main doctor is one tough guy, I don't think he knows how to sit, if he's explaining, if he's showing us something, if we are waiting for him even we have to be standing! lol, he says surgery's all about standing! but he's a good person, but like I said, its very time consuming, its hospital in the morning and then lectures in the afternoon. there is days like today when the case is so interesting that you don't feel exhausted standing next to the patient for almost an hour!
LMAO it is!! my first chief was a mean bastard he had us standing at all times, if you leaned over something or yawn or sigh or anything he faced you and said "is this too hard/boring/much? you may go home" And then he waited until the person had left, so I learned soon to stay straight and endure LOL
We had to be there standing and not saying a word unless asked and not even blinking for days, I've been in surgeries for 20 hours or more, it IS about standing, just in case I'm gonna start emailing you, to keep in touch you know?
Yeah, feel free to do so... I would love to keep in touch :P I know what you mean, my group has almost five supervisors but one of them is pure hell. we did examination for pt with appendicitis and he wanted to know each and every detail about appendix, anatomy, patho, etc so after almost 30 minutes of us answering, he glared at us and said "I think you should stop talking at this moment, I'm already convinced you are group of idiots!" and I just stood there gaping at him! lol, its weird, I've to five patients today and they all had appendicitis, seriously, is it its season or something!!
