so i didn't end up going to macau this weekend, but it turned out to be a busy one anyway, so i'm sort of happy that we stayed. on friday, after finding a tailor, practicing my cantonese with her, and designing my own sweater (yay!), lion (yes, her name is lion) and i went to this awesome japanese restaurant where you pay 38 RMB and eat as much as ( Read more... )

lol.... if they can't find your veins that doesn't mean anything, just that they aren't very skilled at phlebotomy. i am sure it has some other significance but it's really not that important. of course you can draw blood from the hand... the veins are all connected after all. i wish i had all i could eat sushi. why didn't you go to macau? bowling is fun. you should open your own photobucket account!

well, i could come home for a break (and i will, providing i find airplane tix less than 1000 USD), but i've always wanted to see what it's like to pass the new year in China. so i'm staying until February. if i visit saks for 2 weeks, that would still leave time to go home, but the parents' ultimatum was "airplane tix are expensive. you stay home the whole time" if i go home. so that's that...

thank goodness my hand is okay, but still--she reeked of incompetence (the whole hospital did, in fact, or maybe it was just the mold in the air). oh, china!:)

They can NEVER find veins in my arms either!!! All those incompetent nurses out there! It really hurts when they move around the needles stuck in your skin to look for hits.

Oh, you didn't go to Macau? Oops... I didn't read that before I wrote you an email. Sorry!!

The bowling sounds fun :) It doesn't matter if you are good at it or not! Enjoy :)
