pickpockets

after successfully adding additional passport pages and after finishing the two towers (that's the second book of lotr, for those of you not in the know...which should be nobody:)), i headed home on the crowded number 70 bus. because it was so crowded, i was on extra special guard--there's no time like a busy time to get the wool pulled over one's ( Read more... )

I've had an experience with a pickpocket in Senegal, too. I was already depressed from all the little children begging and hanging on to my fingers for coins, but the pickpocket definitely added on some more guilt in my heart. Perhaps I felt more sorry for him, because I noticed before he took anything... but it is really sad that their situations force them to have such mind to hate, steal, and not trust others.
