One of my friends develops for iPhones these days through his company; basically, his programming company wanted to check out the market, so they paid him to just naff off an teach himself Objective C and other stuff for a few months, as far as I know. Well, since I need to run as a developer to screw with PureDarwin anyway, that might give me some useful skills in this whole regard ( ... )

Oh yeah, I went back to ~x86 today. Less than 24 hours. Suck the hate x86 branch!

Of course, I still need a revdep-rebuild that's going to kick my ass, but I can disable hibernation to take it home and run it there. Of course I could just hibernate it and hope it doesn't get boned, but usually when you rebuild 400 packages a lot of library linking gets the Alexandria treatment, so I prefer not to force myself into situations that I need to live CD chroot. Not because I don't love it, but because I've done it enough that it's just larger console font than I prefer using xfce.
