I think this is a pretty significant week for me. Not just because Valentine's day is coming up, but also because on the 16th is the day when I first started writing in my hand written journal that I have been keeping. The legend people tell (though very loosely based on real events) is about a Roman rebel priest that married Claudius' young soldiers to wives at a time when this was forbidden. He was thrown in jail, where he fell in love with the Jailor's blind daughter. Somehow he healed her blindness, and then proceeded to write her the first "valentine," before finally being executed.

Yeah I'm all for a good ol'fashion Christian killing too once in a while. And don't thank me, thank Jesus for the internet, Wiki-pedia and Google (a holy trinity of their own, and the only religion I'll ever need.)
