hi I'm alexis, I'm new to lolita too and i live in Melbourne, i just brought my first dress
here's some websites:
bodyline (not as good quality but cheaper still ok),
my-lolita-dress (my favourite some dresses can be tailored to fit)
taobao (seems to be everyone's favourite sells brand and off brand dresses), fanplusfriend.com (sells a lot of gothic very nice website)
for 2nd hand there is, closet child (apparently sells fast), lace market (also sells new most recommended 2nd hand store from my friends)

Just try your best to not become ita otherwise you'll be posted on BtB. You're still at a tender age of 14, being posted there can crush your determination to become a decent lolita. Also, avoid to become a drama queen.

Hello!I think the best you can do is browsing as many sites about lolita as possible. These are the ones I reccommend(you might have heard of them already though): http://lolita-tips.tumblr.com/ http://fyeahlolita.blogspot.com/ Also since you're 14,I'm not sure about your budget or if you are still growing up,anyway I think you should plan your first outfit beforehand and not just buy random things, and take everything you need to buy in account(a petticoat, bloomers, blouse, shoes, etc)Alexis has reccommended you some good stores already, make sure to read reviews about the product or stores before buying. It's good to know what style you want to go for(classic?sweet?gothic?etc) so you can make a consistent wardrobe. And last but not least:Have patience and confidence!
