Happy birthday, Freddie!!!

As we all know, Freddie would have been 60 today. So, in memory of the great life that he lead, I have some of my favorite Freddie photos to share with you. I have approximately 40 below the cut. You have probably seen most of these, but I adore them, and I think you probably do too.

Oh well. I still remember the first time I saw the Tribute Concert. I took one look at Bri's eyes watering and burst into tears.

Thank you so much! I love the Scandal picture; I adore him with the beard despite the obvious effects of his illness. He looks so beautiful. I just want to hug him and sit with him for a game of checkers! I've said this elsewhere, but whenever I dream about Freddie, he always has the beard.

It's still the 5th here in California, so right now I am raising a martini glass of stoli and orange juice to our man, Freddie. Happy birthday, love! We will never forget you!!!

Oh, weird story. Maybe I'm just forgetful, but last night when I had stoli and orange juice, I swear I put the vodka back in the top shelf of the freezer, but when I came home from work today and opened the freezer, it was in the bottom shelf! Read into that whatever you will...

I know, I love the scruff, too. Breakthru is one of my FAVORITE videos. Aw, I wish I dreamt about Freddie!

If I could drink, I'd drink a drink for Freddie. ;)

The man is embedded in my subconscious and has been for, oh, 15 years! So he does show up to quite literally say hello sometimes in my dreams. My dreams about him are almost always the same. I see him and it's like, "darling!" and I run to him and he hugs me, once he kissed me but it didn't feel sexual. I think I posted about this in a dreams thread at queenonline once. I only dream about him once or twice a year, usually when I am having a really shitty time with life.

Heh. ;-) I couldn't tell if any was missing. I live by myself so I know some pesky roommate didn't move it or drink it!

fantasticdrowse and I had dinner and an ice cream sundae tonight for Freddie's bday and we talked about you and your awesomeness :)
