I'm again sad that I didn't choose the high school where I could have studied Latin.

My lycée actually didn't offer Latin until my junior year...and I couldn't continue it my senior year, as it conflicted with the highest level of Spanish. (So my facility for the language belies my actual experience). I have, however, chosen to continue my Latin studies, the Classics being my guilty pleasure. So don't fret, sweetums, you can take it at university- it's so much better that way- much faster. ...Well, I'm not sure you'd want that, but the pace with which it progressed in secondary school deeply frustrated me, having already taken Spanish and French, anyway.

The lines below that delicious photo of Rogercito comprise an excerpt from Catullus VI, among my favorite pieces of verse. (The cut I translated for Kez...^^)
