I'm thankful I had wonderful friend. She lived in Finland (I live in Poland), we only met once but she was one of my best friends. And she died last Saturday ;( But I'm thankful I could meet her in my life, I could talk with her face to face (even that it was only an hour), that we could send letter and all that. I'm thankful I met her.

Your story makes me thankful for my best friend. We don't talk much any more, but I know she's there. She lives in The Netherlands and I live in Canada. The 6 hour time difference between us makes it rather difficult to get together, but I am thankful to know her. I've met her in person twice, but we're still very close.

It feels weird that she's not here, on Earth anymore. But maybe she's somewhere up there looking at me and saying "Don't give up!" :)
