Not to dork back in your direction :) but I'm a huge Star Trek fan, as is my boyfriend (especially TNG) and I've always wanted a holodeck!

i've always wondered if this was possible. in my mind, it was like a tredmill for walking. but i didn't think of the ball. it seems like the same as how an old mouse would work. neat stuff, would love to see this in action.
