Syriana (or, a post with actual content)

I just saw Syriana with my friend, and while it wasn't on the same level as Kong or Narnia, it was still an entertaining and, above all, unique film. It's kind of like an episode of Seinfeld in that it follows four seemingly unrelated storylines whose interconnectedness (is that a word?) becomes increasingly evident as time goes on

sorry, wesley. i completely disagree with you about king kong. the beginning was choppy. the ending was very good, although it dragged a bit. the middle was one of the most retartded things i have ever seen in my life. this was not supposed to be jurassic park 4 or starship troopers 3. it just kept going and going to the point of ridiculousness. naomi watts is beautiful, but she also looked absolutely retarded in that little vaudeville act. gah. you could not pay me to watch that movie again...sorry this is so long.
