It's been a rough day... Glad it's over
Today's been terrible. It started bad, got worse, and yet, I got off easy.
You see an Elk decided to committ suicide by jumping under my trailer while I was rolling down the highway. It was a dark stretch of US-287 near Livermore, CO. Poor thing didn't suffer. But how it made such a mess on my trailer's undercarriage and not ripped up my air ( Read more... ) -
Sadness
Tonight I feel the lowest I've felt in a long time. I feel lonely, isolated, and rather worthless for anything other than a source of money or labor.
Don't know what brought this on, but I know what mad it worse. My writing has been hit or miss lately, and due to some feedback, I'm starting to question my abilities.

The end of an era....
I was just told that Blondie found a new hone today. Her new caretakers arrived within 90 minutes of the deal, and she is already adjusting in her new home.
While I for all intents and purposes said goodbye to her when I left Conway, it was none-the-less an emotional anchor to know she was still someplace I could visit.
