Ethan, Sam and I saw something huge at Meadowdale Beach on Saturday night. I would bet my life on it. It breached three times. I didn't see any fins, the part sticking out looked like a back. I guess it could have been a sturgeon, I can't remember if they're saltwater fish or not. Anyway I'm still convinced it was a plesiosaur. It was about ( Read more... )

ive seen porpoises there .... not dolphins mind you... oh and also its orca season.. maybe you saw one of them critters, they get really curious at night and come towards land when all the predators are sleeping.

haha, orcas are the predators. It didn't have a dorsal fin, so I don't think it was of the mammalion variety. It might've been a sturgeon.

Sturgeon are freshwater and saltwater I think, because there are sturgeon at the bottom of the columbia river apparently, but they rarely surface. It could have been a Free Willy though. Those things come through sometimes.
