I don't think I replied before about the secret violin busker.. the experiment was interesting, but I don't think it was a failure at all. Sure, people are on their way to work, they don't have much time to stop (and how many of them even like classical music? Myself, it's just not a language I can parse.) But $32 for 45 minutes? That's pretty good, and it tells me talent *does* still get rewarded just for itself. Which is reassuring, perhaps.

I am gonna record with a band in DC tomorrow. Usually I am afraid, but I love the instrument so I do it anyway. Now because of the beautiful video I am not afraid and I love the instrument. Yay
