Don't let me lie here til I can't hear those people chanting no more

Utterly depressing, this is. Before I say anything, I think I'll have to start watching films like these, alone. The thing about this that I don't like, is that while I don't quite show it (and am quite good at it) I will take days to get over this. I remember my first time watching it, and for one week all I could think of when I closed my eyes ( Read more... )

well i actually find myself a lot more comfortable getting in a character and playing the part of someone else instead of myself. i think i do that all the time really. And it's really impossible to walk out of that character not being affected by it one bit, even people like us with mad skillz find it hard. haha. ah vell. it's a powerful movie and she deserves the golden statue. i hate the stool, wish i could have been there to move it.

it's perfectly fine if you do (and can) but i can't, because i know i will get confused. i have this feeling that after awhile, the appearances i layer over myself builds a reality. then, what becomes of reality? who i was before or who i really am won't matter, if people believe in the way i am now. is there a previous? does it count? suddenly there isn't even a distinction between appearance and reality. that is when i will face my greatest fear, and etc etc, you know what i mean. haha.

and yes, even us with the r0ck!ng m4d sk!llz is not enough :(

but you have to agree with me, the somewhere between nowhere and goodbye is a pretty nice place. :)

Oh yes i do know what you are talking about. I already gave up on trying to find the distinction between appearance and reality already. I'm just wearing masks every day and hoping that they are sufficient enough for everyone else around me. I realised that peeling the layers apart are taxing a task and too demanding on the human spirit. Rather be pompous than to succumb to the squalid pallor that might just be me. (:

Of course i agree with you, it's a place i often find myself in.
