I've got to get an appropriate userpic for this, but...

I'm REALLY enjoying Once Upon a Time. If you aren't watching it yet, catch up! It's only a few episodes in, and a lot of fun!

My new friend ashymolassy said she'd like to see me write for the burgeoning fandom. Here's my first go. Spoilers for the last episode. You have been warned.

I LOVE this show SO MUCH. It's FANTASTIC.

Who do you think the Sheriff is?

I can't decide! I want Emma to be the (traditionally nameless)girl who spun gold, so that all she has to do is know Gold's real name to break the curse...but that would make the Sheriff the greedy King, who would only marry her IF she could spin gold. I don't like that, so much...

I just read a great fic wherein he ended up with Ruby because he was the big, bad wolf! Lol! It was a good fic, too.

I just don't know.

Hmmmm...I hadn't considered that Emma was someone other than Snow White's daughter, I'll have to reaquaint myself with Rumplestiltskin's story!

I read a theory that he's the huntsman from Snow White - the one that spares Snow White. Makes sense, as he's friendly with the evil queen, but also not completely evil.

Possible, but that implies he's going to die, doesn't it? Doesn't the huntsman get killed in the storybook, and that's part of why the evil queen hates Snow so much?

I think Emma will have a dual role. She's Snow and James' daughter, but she will also be a character in her own right...I think. Lol! Who knows?

Nice! I get a definite sense of Emma's personality coming through in the writing.

Her official record was perfect, in point of fact. Every case she'd ever agreed to, she had completed. No one she sought ever eluded her...officially. But she'd never found her mother. Good thing that wasn't on the books. It would ruin her batting average. Maybe finding the son she HADN'T been seeking somehow offset the failure to find the mother she'd been looking for all her life? Then again, maybe not.

This whole paragraph feels very true to her and her sense of humor.

The Jiminy Cricket line made me lol a little bit. :)

Thanks! I really like Emma. It helps that I liked that actress as Cameron, I suppose. :)

lol Cameron used to bug me so much. It's such a strange (but good) experience to watch Jennifer Morrison now and think she's awesome. Emma is a great character and I like how Morrison plays her.

I really enjoyed this--Emma's observations, how she puts the pieces together. Well done!

Is THAT what bumped it? I wondered. Oh well, at least it's scheduled on for this weekend. :)

Glad you liked it. I've been enjoying the comms you recommended. And the userpic. Thanks for that! ♥
