SUPER
Let's see...so, somehow, it was either me or Nancy who got this idea, but we decided to create a little parody of The Office in our work space. We had Nancy's son, Jesse, video it for us, as he has a lot of amazing experience in directing/filming...takes after his dad, I guess, lol.
Basically, we roped a lot of our coworkers into having a fake budget meeting. I mugged at the camera, a la Jim. It was totally a super fun tiem indeed! It focused on budget stuff, bla bla, but I think it was pretty funny. I can't wait to see the finished product.
I met with one of my superiors to discuss my first endeavor as being a guinea pig script reader. I was a little nervous, because I'm not exactly a fan of that franchise, so I rated it "fairly" as opposed to "good" or "excellent"; since it's currently in production, I wondered if that could possibly be a little too arrogant of me?
My superior said no, and in fact thought it was really keen that I stated my honest opinion!
In fact, she told me it my comments were really good! She said I did very well, so I got a gold star for the day, and another script on the way!!!
YAY ME!!!
In not so fun news...my IPod is being significantly uncooperative...since about two weeks ago, every time I plugged it into my computer, it automatically FROZE. This was most bothersome. I took it into the Apple store here, and they ran diagnostics, restored it to factory settings, and I borrowed one of their connectors, plugged it into my computer, and it worked just fine!
Then I took it home, tried it again with my connector, and it froze again!
Of course I declared shenanigans, but I do have reason to believe it's a problem with my connector...I'm going to borrow Jesse's and see if that does anything different...
I haven't said anything yet, but I just want to state right now that Obama is probably super human in his grace and eloquence. Watching his inauguration on Tuesday made me happy to be alive. Shaun called me tonight while I was on my way home from the office - I couldn't really talk, but he told me really quickly that he went to see it! He said it was amazing, and of course I am SUPER jealous of that punk!I am so excited.
