Question
To make a very basic blanket around 28-30 inches wide, how many stitches should you cast on? I lost my book (a while ago), but remember the stitch pattern and can't find a similar one online/in the store and would like to give it a go none-the-less. What I've seen online ranges from 500 to 130 stictches, but I'm assuming the difference has to do with the yarn?
Just regular yarn in use, no complicated stitches invovled. It's basically a learn to knit consistently project.
