woke up mid-morning
ate the last of Becky's oatmeal-chocolate-chip cookies
ran/walked/did crunches and stretches for an hour
ate Gardein curry and cabbage-sesame salad
frolicked in the pool with Susie
read a Kevin Brockmeier novel in the hot tub
took a long nap
went to see Blades of Glory and had movie-theater food for dinner ( Read more... )

Woke up around 7.30 to puke due to being exceedingly hungover after French Quarter Fest
Went back to sleep until about noon
Stared bleary-eyed at the computer screen for about an hour and a half
Fixed the flat tire on Menckles's bike
Paid some bills
Rode my own bike up to the Rue and read the Gambit until about 5PM
Stopped at the Big Fisherman on Magazine St for 10 pounds of crawfish and some potatoes and sausage
Back home for dinner and entertaining of Menckles's out of town visitors and their 15 month old who is possessed of an enormous head
Finally finished Doris Goodwin's Team of Rivals
Back at work today.. makes me somewhat very sad.
