While this format of reading log may be easier for you to maintain, m'dear, I have to say that as a fellow reader with similar tastes, it is really freakin' frustrating not to know what you actually thought of these books.
Well....well, okay, I really didn't know anyone cared. I'm delighted to hear that y'all do.
--I'd skip this particular true crime because it's really pretty tame -- three college students kidnap a bus full of schoolchildren to get some ransom money, but the kids escape after a few hours and everyone knows who did it, so it's not really worth a book-length treatment.
--I love Anne Tyler, and even though Patchwork Planet isn't her strongest, it's still very good.
--The three juv/YA I read in the last few days were all good and quick reads. I think Grooves was my favorite.
