I'm looking for Warcraft players who don't mind setting up a level 1 character on Vek'nilash (horde side) so that I can sort out the sign ups for a new guild.

Unfortunately things have been getting bad in the guild I'm in and its time for me to try and sort one out for myself for a change.

If I could log into battle.net and renew my subscription, like I've been trying unsuccessfully to do for the last week, I'd be happy to help you. As it is, it seems that Blizzard don't want my money. Sorry!

Ouch.. no problem.

Is it just saying you aren't getting the right password, or is it completely blocking you off? If the former I would check if your account hasn't been compromised

I've successfully reset the password - several times - but when I try and log in I just get "Login failed" and nothing more. They sent me an email response to my query saying that there was a problem with battle.net and to try again later - very much the "turn it off and on again" of solutions - but so far, no dice.

I was wondering if my authenticator needs to be re-synced or something, but then presumably if that was the problem it wouldn't let me reset the password either. *shrug*

Don't do it!

*giggls*

My account isn't mine anymore, otherwise I'd help.

I might give it some thought, if i'm welcome, of course. What kind of server is Vek'nilash? If it's pvp I might not, but pve might tempt me. I miss being in a guild.

Its PvE.

It's also very Horde dominated, you can almost guarentee we have Wintergrasp every time the battle comes up. PUG runs are reasonable, but tend to be Gearscore orientated (though to be honest as we are building the guild from scratch that isn't going to be an issue as we will likely run anything and everything to get people geared up).

I've not got people like Nova etc on my LJ friends list so if any of them want to start a new character or pay the £15 or so to move their mains then we are more than happy to have them in.

Interesting.

As I said, would be nice to be in a guild again. I miss the social aspects of the game.

I've never been too keen about pug runs, since as you said, they seem fixated on gear score and achieve lists and since I'm not very hardcore, I always fall short.
Plus, running with a pug as your first time through is a bit hair-raising, so I still haven't seen stuff like ICC. Ah well.

I'll mention it to Nova, see what he says.
