My cousin was diagnosed with MS a couple of years ago. She's young too, just a couple years older than me - 31. As a result of her diagnosis, I have become active in the National MS Society.
The good news is that many MS patients, especially those in the early stages of the disease, find that they can live relatively normal lives. My cousin does- works as a nurse, goes to school, has a happy marriage, etc.
That is tough regarding her job. I would think it would be against the law to fire her because of her disability. But I'm not sure about that.

I will pray for her.
