I think you are right about needing to get all the festivities out of the way before relaxation begins. It has certainly been like that for me this year.
Take the gardening slowly and, if necessary, find another person Friday. Of course, I should follow my own advice!
Clicking on your name will generally get you to your journal, in your layout. Clicking on the little faceless figure in front of the name will get you to your profile. It works with other people's names, too.
Since you're busy figuring out the 'friends locked' thing: it all depends on your personal need for privacy. Most of my posts are public, but some are friends-only (which is the same as friends locked, some people say 'flocked' for short.)

well, supposedly if you save the entry to friends only, only the people on your friends list can see what you have written...I haven't had any issues with people hacking into my journal...but it probably *is* possible...sorry if I've scared you, but better to be honest I guess!
To put entries on friends only, when you write an entry, there should be a scroll bar at the bottom of the page where you can set it to 'everyone' (everyone can see it), 'friends' (so only people on your friends list can read it, 'private' (so only you can see it) or you can save certain friends to specific lists, which is more complicated and I'm not exactly sure how to explain it, probably someone else can!
You need to lock it friends onlyteotakuuJanuary 10 2009, 10:10:43 UTC
Down at the bottom of the page, before you press Post, you can choose to make it private to you only, friends only or public. At the moment anyone might read it if they so chose.
You can go back and change the security level just by going into the edit function.
Yes, it sure is. I/ we all thought it might get easier once they left home. We wouldn't have believed our poor Mothers if they told us otherwise. Who was it who said, "Youth is wasted on the young."?
