Obligitory "I broke up with my girlfriend" post

As most of you are already aware I'm sure, Sarah and I broke up. We don't hate each other and we aren't going to never talk again. Things are a bit odd right now, but I am hopeful for friendship, far more so than any other previous girlfriend.

I'm sorry. But, FWIW, it is entirely possible to create a beautiful friendship with an ex. I did it, and I'm an epic screwup of Biblical proportions. If I can manage it, then you, who are smarter, kinder and more sure of yourself than I, will certainly manage with flying colors. Just give it some time for the weirdness to settle down, and off you'll go.
