so i just finished a baby blanket for my cousin. it was not fun. i did not enjoy it at any point in time. i love you all, but as a note to any of my friends who will ever have children, i will not make your child a baby blanket

been there, done that. twice. *hug*

baby blankets are GRUELING. i don't even want to get into the stories of baby blanket knitting that i have, they just make me cranky and exhausted. at least the last one i did, i actually got a report that the baby loved the blanket and takes it everywhere with her (my friend laura's baby, kayla). so that's nice.

but undeniably, the process of making it was fairly horrible, despite the considerable good cheer of knowing that a tiny child loves a thing i made for her.
