I dance on tiptoes with
bells in hand. Spinning and spinning,
designs in the sand

yea they are. and i probably did. thats why i wasnt sure of the last one. im terrible at counting syllables

It's more of a 6-8-5, but I love the rhythm. I think it flows really nicely, and I definitely wouldn't sacrifice that to fit the haiku format. The current rhythm gives it a melodic quality that fits the theme, I'm a fan (if you can't tell, I spend the last few days working on an analytical poetry paper)
