However, the son of my father's recently deceased friend was here until late discussing my father potentially sponsorsing him in his bid to enter the union

haha, well, she's usually very good about smelling something and knowing it isn't food and GIVE HER SOME DAMN FOOD. This is the first time I've ever seen her eat paper, so she must have been pretty enthusiastic about it. XDD

It is a totally appropriate emoticon for the fluff. She has the giant brown eyes of plotting to charm you out of your dinner.
