Office romance sounds like something the Japanese would do, the second one made me think of xxxholic. Third one sounds most promising. Is there a reason why you chose California? It being my state, I am curious.

The second one is strongly influenced by xxxholic, demon's lexicon, and a passage from this cracktarded novel about Captain Hook's education at Eton

politics... is full of hypocrisy and manipulation of mass communication. its a dark territory. no happy endings comes from politics. ppl can just wish.

darkish fantasy/shop - well it does reminds me of PoH, or xxx holic. but it is full of possibility and surprises. it's d way to go.

As a political activist that works with and knows many politicians, I find the idea that there can be no possible happy ending in politics incredibly cynical. There is plenty of corruption and abuse sensationalized in the media (and those people are rightly ostrasized as a result!), but that is in no way representative of the whole.

I'm torn between the first and second options. The second seems like it has the potential to go in just about any direction, but it seems as though your first idea has more of a plot as of yet. (And as for the third, I'm really not that into anything political...)
