James, yesterday after finding out what being homesick means:  "Well, I'm usually mummy-sick when I'm away."

And out of the blue on Friday:  "You and daddy are really different.  Daddy's very sporty and you're very calm... you're the calmest person I know - and the cleverest."

Tristan, cuddling in bed yesterday morning: "I love you, Mummy - your bed
