I hadn't expected that, which may sound strange since I wrote this story, but as the love scene unfolded and I pictured House with Cameron, it felt like the right moment for him to say "I love you".

"Please don't tell me 13 is not going to resign."

Good for you; you're the first reader that caught that!
We'll have to see what she does in the sequel, and I know that's mean to leave you hanging. It will be a shock to House if she changes her mind. He's convinced he's shamed her into resigning.

Ah, and Thirteen, the character we love to hate ...
I guess this is my way of protesting against her character pushing Cameron aside on the show. It will interesting to see if Thirteen changes her mind about the resignation as a result of her conversation with Monique.
