I've been browsing around on youtube today and I came across this clip from the 2008 Royal Variety Performance :-

Now this proves two things;

1 - That showtunes are awsome no matter what anyone says.
2 - That I absolutely must see Wicked right now

That is possibly the flashiest performance of something from a musical I have ever seen. Normally I would be somewhat offended, but it is Wicked (which I'm pretty sure counts as a pop musical).
