it's kind of a good thing you made one of these, else I was almost tempted to make a rpsecret about it.

mod favoritism. you does have.

several people took advantage of the rise in character limit and were accepted with their new people right away. others had applied a week prior to the change and it took them until the day AFTER all of these new applications to get accepted.

maybe it's coincidence, but it's not the first time I've heard of something like this happen. Treat all of your applicants ASAP, not just your buddies, or you'll be losing players.

I hope you don't mind us unscreening this comment, since you didn't indicate whether or not we should reply ( ... )

As I believe someone stated on roleplaysecrets a while back, I dislike how posts from characters don't count for Activity Checks. It can be hard to find someone to log with, and sometimes your character just doesn't have anything happening to thread about.
I'm not saying posts in a character journal should count just as much as a activity in the main community but maybe something like... You have to have some kind of activity at least once a week, with a log within the last two?

A direct response is fine.

::nodnod:: We're going to take some time to talk about this in our next meeting, which is scheduled for Wednesday, so we'll have a more detailed answer/decision for you then. Sorry for the wait, and thanks for your feedback!

The mods discussed this question in chat tonight and voted to keep the rule unchanged for the time being ( ... )

Just a thought, you might wanna update the "Manhattan Island" section, since a lot of the stuff on it is destroyed now :D;

Long overdue answer to an old bit of feedback, but we've finally done this! Thanks for the reminder.

The Requested Characters and Taken Characters lists are outdated, I'm not sure by how much.

I believe Iroh (Avatar the Last Airbender) has a player now, also Sokka seems ot have been abandoned, and so should probably be taken off that list.

Also, Tobias (Animorphs) is not listed on the Taken Characters roster, though he is mentioned on the mods board as a mysterious hawk.

No rush, no nag, no worry, just thought you might like to know. I understand how those sorts of lists can get out of hand really quickly, especially if you have a shifting roster.

Iroh and Tobias were both dropped and Sokka is still in play. The taken characters list isn't outdated, though we do need to wrangle an update on the requests.

Couple of things!

I love Daisychain. I love Daisychain a lot. I like how we can freely roam and everything and do our own little miniplots and everything and I love TONS of the people here, but.

But.

That sense of an overall plot stringing us along is kind of shrouded in the clouds. I mean, yeah. We get our graffiti, we get our crab bites, we get our disappearances, Clover throws a fit, etc. But to be honest? It's gradually becoming very repetitive and I only hope that something fresh will slink its way into view.

Additionally, I have a bit of an issue with the crab bites. I like having them done by mod-control. This is awesome. HOWEVER. I honestly wonder what's the point of them if one shake of a magic spell from a healer will completely cure a person of a crab bite. What is the point if we don't have any consequences of a crab bite? What is the point if someone can just be ZOOM HEALED from it? I like the idea well enough, but it seems to serve no point if it can be done away with so quickly. The only times I've really been ( ... )

Hey Alba, thanks so much for your feedback!

We certainly want to keep things fresh and interesting around here, and we've got some long-term plans for the year and some short-term plans for the next few months that we hope will stir up the status quo a little bit. We of course can't say when these are all going to happen or what they are, but keep your eyes out and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised ( ... )
