Just out of curiosity, how does this affect the search party? Odd hadn't been planning on going home for a few days to even be back in bed.

Anyways, regardless of where characters are, they still lose a day. If the search party headed out on Wednesday, then they'll wake up wherever they last were, and if they were planning to head out Thursday, then obviously that's gone and they'll set off on Friday!
