There wasn't much in the way of exploring she'd done yet, inside or out. However, she was mildly impressed with herself for having found the kitchen.
At the moment, she sat at the table - it was in surprisingly good condition, aside from the stains from water damage and scratches in the wood.
She was used to seeing things in various states of decay. Still, she always seemed to imagine things worse than they really were.
When I woke up...I was alone.
She wasn't sure she wanted to look around the cathedral yet. Well, not alone. It could trigger too much, memories.

A glass of wine sat in front of her on the table. Nothing in particular to celebrate, but she'd only really tapped into the stuff for the clean water.
It was ironic, she guessed, having a creature like her drinking sacremental wine-
She stopped the thought. Just because she was born in the town did not make her a monster. She doubted she could become one anyway, in this city. It seemed so...draining.
