It had been almost infuriating, being stuck in bed for days. His ankle perpetually propped up on a pillow, covered in bandages from the damned glass and whatever else he'd landed in. He'd been bored as hell, quite honestly. Desperate to be on his feet again, but Harry insisted otherwise.
Winter was coming and he was sure it was ready to kill. There were a million and one things he could do to prepare. More blankets, heating pads, raid the stores nearby, maybe make a longer journey to see if there was anything he'd missed. Some warmer coats...
There was so much, he didn't have time to be laying around.
Yet there he was in the dim room, watching Top Gun for the third time that day on mute, mouthing the lines of the movie.
Bored.
He already memorized the damn movie from start to finish, and for once, he'd had enough. Stretching for the remote, he turned off the TV and peered around for something entertaining that was in immediate reach.
No luck.
At last he simply gave up, laying on his back, waiting for something. Waiting to fall asleep or- anything.
So very bored.
