Visitations~ [ Finished~ ]
Characters: Kaylee, Odd, and whoever Odd runs into...
Content: Odd goes to visit Kaylee while she's sick. D'aww, so nice of him~
Location: ABC Auto
Time of day: Evening
Long story short, Kaylee was not a happy camper about being stuck in bed. She felt terrible, sure, and her lungs and head had given way more often than not to a dull ache. She was still hot, still coughing every second she was breathing, but at least the fever had gone down. Mal had been extremely pushy about her staying in bed until it was completely gone though.
Cap'n's orders.
So she sat, bored out of her mind and tinkering with a few of the engine pieces Wash had brought her. There had been frowning, the need for rest brought up, but Wash had strongly suggested that Kaylee would probably get worse if she were left to brood. Thank you Wash~
And so she sat, finished engine parts placed neatly beside her, bits and pieces for other parts piled around her and the bed. It was slow work, interrupted often by coughing and worried crew mates, but it was more than she would have been doing before. Besides, they were getting some damn good engine parts out of this deal that she couldn't wait to test out in the car.
