Mia had gone to the supply center just that day, and found in her food kit noodles and dried meat and vegetables with which she could replicate something like ramen for the dinner with Harry tonight, using the soy sauce she had as a base for the broth. She wasn't about to end any of her routines, or hide in her apartment, in the face of the bizarre accusations. Few people believed them, it seemed, and as long as no one threatened her or her family Mia saw little cause to retaliate. Somewhat harder to bear were the charges that she had sat by while crimes were committed in the city; those were painful, because she felt they weren't without truth. With Dahlia's most recent attempt on Diego's life and Maya's depression, had she withdrawn into her family sphere and ignored the rest? Mia wasn't even sure she had the energy to muster to contribute more productively to the city's protection and well-being.
She had lost something. Spirit, inspiration. Perhaps courage. Maybe talking to Harry would help her get it back.
