Oh, I liked this very much. Maybe it was a little bit OOC for Uther, but I think it was still realistic. He's not stupid, after all, just fanatical. I liked how it all played out; great job! :D

I was hoping that would be the case - Uther's a cool character and as you say, he's not dumb. I also think the fact that he Knows he would have to have Merlin killed and Arthur imprisoned is a factor. (Merlin only because of the affect it would have on Arthur - much like losing Igraine was for him, probably..)

Oh, darn it, I was just a pile of mushy by the end of this. :D So sweet and you struck a nice balance in your writing. This is definitely a new approach, with Uther knowing like this, but I loved it.

Oh my god! This left me smiling. :) Such a lovely fic. I don't think Uther was that OOC - after all, he's not an idiot, and if he knew he was dying, he must have trusted in Arthur knowing that he would always do the right things for his people.

Auugh, I'm so excited about this fic that my English is all clumsy now :D I'm sorry!

Very nicely done. I liked that Merlin was willing to save Uther for Arthur's sake once again. Good job.

This was just fantastic. Loved it from beginning til end. I love that Uther chose to die and Merlin chose to save him, because they love Arthur. I actually think this was very in character for all characters. Uther saying if he lived he would've killed Merlin and had Arthur prosecuted for betraying him was definitely what I think would've happened.

And Arthur crying because Merlin was safe was so touching.

Great story. Loved it :).
