Eh CS will never be good as Austin cause people seem to avoid the fact that CS's limited growth due to public zoning laws and what not will keep it in small town mode forever.I don't blame you for wanting to get out of there it killed me half the time with how limited it was and what not. The only thing I really miss about cs besides a few people is multiple freebird locations otherwise it's for the birds.. hm.. all the places that would of had king cake are now different types of places.. maybe that like cajun shack over by fatburger might have some, that is my best bet otherwise I dunno..

Sucks about the house though :(

mmmm...i had some yummy king cake this weekend and i'm gonna have some more tonight. alison and i brought back 2 king cakes from new orleans yesterday.

last year, at work, we bought a few king cakes from la madeline. i think they had them at alberton's too! i hope you find one :)

I know how you feel, saying you miss Austin. I moved to Austin about seven months ago to get away from that small-town mentality, so I can imagine how you might feel.

kind of like Stavesacre? nope, nope, nope! I LOVE STAVESACRE. Almost as much as Laura does. they are my second favorite band, only behind Brandtson!
