The idea - So we have the perfect area for a bar in our basement.  Already has the refrigerator, small sink and a few cabinets.  The owners even had one there before they moved.

So, new bars are anywhere from $300 (small, indoor/outdoor) - $2,000 (big, fake stone, guady).  So I found, what I thought at the time, was the perfect solution - ebay.

Third day into my long-ass commute and the bus got a flat this morning. hopefully this isn't the norm.

Luckily the next bus stopped and allowed some of us to board - standing room only.

and i paid $4.25 for that privilege ...

But the big days are still ahead of us - Friday we move me and Saturday John.  and it is supposed to rain.

But then we get to live together!  and we have our first guest scheduled - JR is coming in 2 weeks!

Our friends and family are so generous that we got 3 breadmakers.  2 of the kind we registered for and one other one.  It is the same brand, but not sold at Bed, Bath and Beyond.  It is sold at Target.  Target does not take returns over $20 without a receipt.   but i want to keep the one we registered for.  now i have to figure out how to nicely ( Read more... )
