6-10 Wilson

Which Fox person thought it was a good idea to have no more House episodes until January? *grump*

I got up early this morning and watched Wilson before leaving for work, because I wanted to be able to join in with the reaction without having to wait until I got back home (I never go on LJ after an ep until I've watched it, even though I like reading spoilers, and yes, that probably is a tad eccentric :D )

I was hoping that Wilson's 'friend' wouldn't turn out to be OMG BFF that we've somehow never heard of before, and he wasn't. I thought the whole patient-related plot worked very well indeed, right down to Mr Pillock being saved and going back to his girlfriend (stupid idiot).

I was so happy too that nobody said to Wilson that OMG he might die, drama etc, just called him on whether his judgment was sound.

I loved all the House and Wilson bits. LOVELOVELOVELOVE.

Whether you think in terms of slash or not, they are SO VERY MARRIED.

I loved seeing the world through Wilson's day, even though I did spare a part of my brain for thinking "Oh dear, poor RSL, he must have hated filming this ep." XD

The makeup department made a bit of a boo-boo - when someone has liver failure the jaundice actually covers their whole body, not just the face :/

Some bits that I particularly liked:

- House's team zooming past doing CPR on their patient (made me literally LOL).
- House mentioning Room 12A (yay, Python reference!)
- The last bit, with Wilson saying that Cuddy had hurt his friend and needed to be punished (NOT because of being mean to Cuddy, but purely because he was telling House how much he meant to him) (and LOL at the PO Box thing).
- House turning up at the last minute for Wilson's op (and Wilson smiling as he went under), and then being with him while he was in hospital recovering.
- The table metaphor (which sounded to me like a sort of corollary to "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you can get what you need.")

Dear House People, please keep House and Wilson living together for the rest of the show, because it's completely and utterly RIGHT. Love, Daisylily.
