I never understood why all of this gothic lolita stuff is so expensive. The print is cute and rather unique, but... I don't know. It just doesn't look worth $160.

The prices are equivalent to Anthropologie, and the fabric is actually quite nice. Some brands definitely overcharge, though. I think better examples of "expensive but worth it" can be found with Victorian Maiden and Innocent World.

Oh, that's good to know. I was assuming it was just a basic cotton poplin from the pictures. And wow, the Victorian Maiden stuff is really pretty! :O

I have, but some pieces just draw me in purely for aesthetics! I've already mentally assembled a dreamy vampire inspired ensemble around that skirt.
But that doesn't mean I'll buy it. =P

I would say just make it yourself. But with that intricate print at the bottom, that would be nigh impossible.
Well you always did have good taste. You never know. Maybe you’ll come into some extra cash and be able to get it.
