OK, so here it is. Chile was.....not a very good travel. Most of the plans that Prof. Hale made fell through and his Chilean colleagues pretty much abandonned us. But even besides that, we spent about 7 of our 10 days in the city of Concepcion which according to his travel book is the ugliest city in the country. There is just so much cool ( Read more... )

I saw commercials for that show weeks ago and was like, "Is that...? Nooooooooo, can't be!" But then I saw the newest commercial for it last night and was like, "THAT'S ASHLIE!!! FROM FRANKLIN!!! I KNOW HER!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! GO ASHLIE!!!" and I was pretty much like that every time the commercial came on. I hope she wins. She's so perfect for the job.

Ok! FYI: I got my call! I'm going to...........wait for it.......isn't this exciting?!......Taiwan (Taipei)! Yeah, I'm pretty stoked - not gonna lie, I was a little taken aback at first - Chinese?! What! Hahaha - but I'm way excited! I start at the Missionary Training Center on Jan. 21st.
