On buying second-hand

Recently, I bought a nice belt and shoes at the Red Cross. I was trying on this pair of mary-janes when a woman walked by and said that it was really disgusting to buy second-hand shoes. What's the kr exchange rate? And just how small is Växjö anyway?

50kr is about 7 USD. Växjö's small... the town center comparable to a suburban town center in S'pore without the multi-storey malls. ;)
I gave her 1400 as we agreed on and I'm really glad to have the rug! It looks great in our newly renovated office!

I cleaned the shoes with alcohol before I used them. And beside I use socks...that should be enough, right? Wait, don't answer that... ;)
