dressed 2 kids and sent #1 to school, raked and bagged 4 sacks of leaves while #2 was sleeping in the pram, fed and filmed #2 getting a first taste of solids, baked 8 loaves of bread, eaten lunch, uploaded new videos to youtube, posted to the kids' blogs, fed #2 again before dressing her to pick #1 up from school, invited a friend and her daughter ( Read more... )

you're amazing! I consider it a good day if I toss dinner in the slow cooker and don't get so stressed out by constantly nursing baby that I shove her ar dad the moment he gets home! :)

What sort of carrier do you use? I'm experimenting with a bunch .. and just learned about the Storchenwiege today...

When a friend said that she got lot more things done after her 2nd one I thought, "yeah, when they're old enough to play with each other and can feed themselves, sure!". But now I see what she means...it's like the mind is reprogrammed to make split-second decisions, prioritize things and you find yourself doing things faster than you could possibly imagine (eating your own meals and showering for example). Personally, I was in a half-depressed state for 3 months after Elin so I know what you mean about handing over to Daddy ( ... )

The Ergo is Daddy's, since I didn't want to scare him with all the intricacies of the other baby carriers. I myself use a Babypouch wrap (similar to the Moby), and last weekend, I bought 2 slings (very cheap second-hand) to try and they've worked really well, almost better than my wrap though (which cost me far more :P )

Baby sleeps pretty well in both the wrap and the sling.. though she fusses when she starts sweating...

I'm surprised myself... didn't realise I had accomplished so much until my hubby listed it out for me. ;)

*rereads entry*

You are kind of a superwoman. I only have to take care of myself and all I am doing these couple of days is lying on the sofa being sick and using the mucus as an excuse to why I cannot tidy up.

Do you do the bread from scratch or let a machine mix for you?

I suppose any woman can be superwoman for one day...anyway, hope you feel better soon!

I make it from scratch although I do use a kneading attachment to my electric hand mixer.

okay... I have to say they were small loaves from one batch of dough. If I made buns I could have said 24 buns!

Wow you are seriously amazing. When my maid went on home leave last year I thought I was great if I managed to do laundry on any day.....

my classmate who's a mother of 4 teenages loads and unloads (well sometimes other people in the house help) the dishwasher, full 4 times a day!!! i had two thoughts 1) what a lot of crockery/cutlery they go through 2) what a lot of crockery/cutlery they HAVE! if we wanted to do that we'd have to expand on our current exclusive collection of 4 dishes, 4 side plates, 4 bowls etc... wahaha

and WELL DONE!! especially if that's a typical day. my levels of activity rise and fall very dramatically from day to day. heh
