I just tasted the banana choc-chip cake I baked and I'm totally blown away. And I usually don't like banana cake. I had 1 piece and then another half a piece just to be sure! ;) This recipe is a keeper! If there are any banana + choc cake lovers, I'll translate the recipe and post it!

Should I be making spring rolls now that spring is here?

Roger and Linda are homewardbound with a 9 hour drive ahead of them... Don's coming tomorrow to help us put in the floor in the office downstairs. I really think we can run a B&B here! Jack is also coming for a visit in April... An, wanna book in your dates? ;)

Simsson had to be put to sleep.

today is just yuck. I'm just feeling defeated today and everthing seems difficult. *Sigh* Snow's melting and everywhere's slushy and wet. And here I am complaining and eating my yoghurt. No mood to make dinner and that tells you just how lousy a mood I'm in.

Nick had an interview at my company today. It's very exciting and at the same time nerve-wrecking not to know if he's going to get the job. Keep your fingers crossed for him!

Maybe it was the coffee that I drank during our after-ski bbq which kept me up till 4am talking to Nick. We watched The Theory of Flight till about 2am but I didn't realise that it was so late. I went skiing with the consultants from Manila and Emma today. More accurately, I tried to ski and ending up falling so many times that I lost count. I got sympathetic looks from little kids!
