a new obsession

apparently, I don't know how to wash a car. Wheels clean, upholstery vacuumed (cleaning to come tomorrow, probably), vinyl is in progress. I even got all the pine tar off the hood and roof. But I can't figure out how to make the sudsy stuff work. I got suds, I got cloths, I got a sprayer. But the side I washed looks exactly like the unwashed

you know, without a clear coat, you may consider having the car repainted. it'd be expensive, but i'm not sure how good you'll be able to get the paint without doing such a thing.

you might just be able to add a clearcoat to it, actually. i'm not really too familiar with that aspect.
